& the Brand story
Hi, I’m Vionna, founder of A Fresh Day Co. and a mum to three wonderful kids.
Like so many mums, I spent years juggling a full-time career and full-time motherhood, always striving to balance it all, wanting to have it all.
But in 2023, when my eldest was in Primary 1, something unexpected happened. I reached a breaking point. I had no idea that my daughter was struggling to meet the high expectations she had unknowingly set for herself, believing that excelling in school would earn her the time and attention she so desperately needed from us parents.
The emotional toll it took on her became painfully clear, and I’ll never forget how our hearts sank when her school counsellor shared these words with us: “I feel upset that my parents have no time for me.” I used to think the story of a child exchanging $50 for their parents’ time was just an ad. Yet, it happened to us in real life.
That raw honesty from my little girl was a wake-up call I couldn’t ignore. The overwhelming guilt led me to make a bold decision: in 2023, with the full support of my husband, I left my corporate job to focus on what truly mattered — my family.
We wanted to build a life where I could be present for my children while pursuing a passion that aligned with my values. After much deliberation,
